The Darth Vader inspired PS4 will be available on November 17th, according to a blog post with more information on Sony's site. Sony have recently made a big push with limited edition consoles for big releases with Destiny: The Taken King, Metal Gear Solid V and Batman: Arkham Knight all having custom consoles announced for launch. The console itself will (like the others so far announced by Sony) be the standard 500GB version, which is unfortunate for those with their eyes on an upgrade to the 1TB "Players Edition" PS4 and those that currently have a full hard-drive. The console will come bundled with a custom controller and a copy of either Disney Infinity or Star Wars: Battlefront. Unlike the other custom consoles which have mixed up Sony's colour palette, the Darth Vader PS4 features the man himself picked out against the black background in shades of white and grey. Still, based on the sudden shift in strategy from the last few years, it looks like EA is devoted to investing in single-player projects more than it was before Star Wars Battlefront II made its debut back in 2017.Taking the stage at the D23 expo, Sony have revealed the latest in a recent line of custom consoles: the Darth Vader. This is when everyone believes EA will take the wraps off the new Dead Space game.Īs far as the sequel to the trilogy goes, this is briefly mentioned in VentureBeat's report, so it's probably not far into development. If you didn't know, EA will kick off a series of pre-shows next week that will culminate with its Main Show set to take place on July 22. The good news is we won't have to wait too long to learn more about EA's unannounced Dead Space game.
